Built by immigrants, for immigrants
Your US immigration journey, with clarity.
Not just where you are, but where you’re headed, what to do next, and who you can count on.
Everything here comes from an official US government source, and we show you which one on every page, with the date we last checked it.

Who’s building this
immigrei started with two Brazilian friends, one who immigrated to Australia and one to the United States, who both felt what it’s like to have no map: confusing forms, tight deadlines, and $300 calls with lawyers that ended with more questions than answers. We built the tool we went looking for and couldn’t find.
Why immigrei
You’ve already tried to figure this out alone.
We know how that usually goes. We lived it before we built immigrei.
The usual way
With immigrei
The usual way
You open the USCIS site, read “Case Was Received,” and still don't know what it means for you.
With immigrei
The same status, explained in plain language: what it is, what it means for your case, and what usually comes next.
The usual way
You find out there was a deadline after it has already passed.
With immigrei
A heads-up on your deadlines while there's still time: I-94, extensions, and status changes.
The usual way
$300 for 15 minutes with a lawyer, just to understand the basics of your own case.
With immigrei
You get the basics on your own. A lawyer comes in when your case really calls for one.
The usual way
Apps show you a status and stop there. You still don't know what comes next.
With immigrei
The whole journey: where you are, where you're headed, and what to prepare at each step.
The usual way
Hundreds of dollars per application, charged all at once.
With immigrei
Free case tracking, forever. The full journey for $29.90/month.
Your case is sensitive. We treat it that way.
Encrypted, always
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Only you can see your data
Your data is walled off from every other account, down to the database.
Official status, straight from the source
We check directly with USCIS. We never file or sign anything for you.
The whole path
Not just where your case stands, but where it's going and what each step takes.
Plain language
No legalese and no contradictory answers from Google. Built in Portuguese first, for Brazilians.
A real community
Real stories from Brazilians who've been where you are.
Common questions
Is immigrei a law firm?+
No, and that's on purpose. immigrei organizes your journey: where your case stands, what comes next, and what each step takes. We don't give legal advice. That's still a lawyer's job.
How much does immigrei cost?+
The Snapshot plan is free forever: case tracking, status alerts, deadlines, and the community. If you want to see where your journey can go (kits by visa type, a document vault), that’s Journey, our only paid plan. See the plans →
I already use a case-tracking app. What's the difference?+
Tracking your status is where it starts, and immigrei does that for free on the Snapshot plan. The difference is what comes after. Instead of stopping at the status, we show where that case can go, what to prepare at each step, and which deadlines are coming up.
How do I know this isn't a scam?+
We get the suspicion. The immigration market is full of scams. immigrei was started by Brazilian immigrants who went through the same process and wished something like it existed. Your data is encrypted and kept separate from every other account, and your case status comes straight from the official source, USCIS. We never make it up.
Do I still need a lawyer?+
That decision stays yours, based on advice from a licensed professional. immigrei doesn't assess whether your case needs a lawyer. What we do is organize where you are and what comes next, so that if you do talk to a professional, the conversation is quicker, cheaper, and you have the right questions ready.
Does it work for my type of visa?+
Probably. Today we cover the most common paths for Brazilians in the US: students (F-1, M-1), work (H-1B, O-1, L-1), business (E-1, E-2), adjustment of status, extensions, and green cards. If yours isn't on the list, we'll let you know when we add it, and you can start with the general path, which works as a base for any visa.
Is immigrei available in Portuguese?+
Yes. immigrei was built in Portuguese first, and that's still where everything is most complete. We're adding English page by page, and every English page is written by hand, not machine-translated.
